I did think there was some confusion over the payment though - an email that quoted a price to me (that I paid) said if the service couldn't be provided by one company, then another would do so for the same price. However, I received an urgent email – while I was mid-flight – requesting an extra payment because the route calculated was not the one that would be taken. I paid this extra, but the route was not something I planned, and this should have been taken into consideration at the time of booking."

On the downside, the web app doesn't allow to choose the route. I thought we would go via M25 but the driver told me they always have to go through town due to mileage. I understand this, but I should have been let know in advance, to have the right expectations. In fact, the journey shown in the map when I booked the service, was showing the M25 route, so it is a disappointment to learn this is not the case once you are already in the taxi. "
